EAA AirVenture celebrates Air Force anniversary with wartime

OSHKOSH – Military services and aircraft enthusiasts alike have a ton to look forward to at AirVenture this year.

2022 marks the 75th anniversary of the U.S. Air Force’s lifestyle as its personal department in the military services, and the Experimental Aircraft Association’s annual AirVenture conference has jumped in with celebrations to honor both veterans and their plane.

“The Air Power is only supporting a few or 4 civilian reveals for the anniversary, and this is 1 of them,” EAA’s director of communications, Dick Knapinski, stated.

All over the 7 days, AirVenture will spotlight the Air Force’s record and technological advancements, including Air Power leaders and personnel together with the plane.

The principal attraction, on the other hand, will be the AirVenture air exhibits July 30, featuring a C-17 Globemaster III, Dean Cutshall’s F-100 Tremendous Sabre and Matt Younkin’s Twin Beech 18, as perfectly as the USAF Heritage Flight’s F-35A, the newest American fighter jet, and P-51, a fighter utilized in the 1940s and 50s.
